Going on another browser tab makes connection paused?

Hey,

I'm not sure if it's a default behavior or a kind of bug on my side. quick process explanation :

I'm making a quiz game. An admin is sending question to players, they all have a waiting screen with a countdown then the question (answer time is limited). The timer isn't managed by the server.

Everything works fine if players stay on the same tab browser. However if he is on an other tab (like this forum for example) it may miss the cooldown or more exactly the cooldown is delayed until he comes back to the game tab browser. And obviously, then he hasn't time synch with other players.

It sounds like I'm missing a simple configuration parameter but can't get it... any clues ?

(I'm using Flash Reactor SWC)
