Union has a feature for blocking IP addresses.
(Not sure if those can be done in bulk yet or not, though.)
Call those the blacklist.
How about having a corresponding whitelist function:
- ONLY addresses on the list are accepted.
Why would you want that?
Well here is an example:
I have Union set up on my PC for testing,
and the only legitimate connections should be local (from 127.0.0.1).
But in my logs I see
2014-10-25 17:33:51,382 INFO - Gateway [PrimaryGateway] accepted a connection from [/xx.xxx.58.44:29640]
(Actual IP address obscured here.)
Probably I should address that in another way with a firewall or something,
but it would be useful if Union could help out too.
