Union Admin problem

Postby toby » Wed 17 Dec 2014 13:47

If I have UnionAdmin 2.1.1 open in a web browser,
logout,
leave the page as is,
login (some hours later - don't know if this makes a difference)
then ...
the top half of the Server tab
which has "Uptime" and "Memory" as part of the display
does not update. It stays as it was when the logout occurred.

There are changes in the lower Bandwidth portion however,
and other tabs such as Clients do get updates and appear current.

I was also wondering, since the only replies my posts get (including
things that appear to be Union problems) are now from spammers,
whether posting here is useful or not.

Same question here, I am thinking about licensing the server, but support is kinda non existing? Would be awesome if dev team/owner would reply from time to time.

You should at least give it a try using a free version (1000 client limit)
because the good news is ... it doesn't require a lot of support.

All the problems I have encountered either don't really matter (too much)
or have pretty easy workarounds. This is a high-quality product -
all the more remarkable since it's available for free.

But yeah, a few more replies or at least acknowledgements would be nice.

I am using it and it's awesome, wrote the whole client side in c#, that's why I am a bit worried about support.

we are here, and listening. we're often too busy to participate directly in forums, but we always take bug reports seriously, and we do give enterprise customers active support, particularly for any problems that are discovered in union itself. we also use union every day in the development and maintenance of our interactive television platform, "Megaphone TV" (see www.megaphonetv.com). union is definitely alive and well, and not going anywhere any time soon.

we'll be setting aside time to go over some forum issues in january.

best,
